Dizzy Blonde Strikes Again

I had my dates mixed up! While I am very sad that we will miss the Maven Session at Carlsbad Lagoon, we did not miss Ohana Day in Seal Beach afer all because is was last weekend, April 19th! There was free a free bodyboarding and surf clinic for those that wanted to learn how or improve their skills. Sarah learned how to angle her board down the line and turn that big 8 ft board from the wonderful people at M&M Surf School.

There was a raffle with a lot of prizes. Connor decided against the bodyboarding because he could not tear himself away from the raffle. He had won and was hooked! We bought $10 in raffle tickets and won twice. First time we won a Volcom sand chair and beach towel and the second time we won a $50 gift certificate to Mahe's Seafood and Steakhouse.

I want to thank our local Surfrider chapter for putting this on. We had a lot of fun!
